nevia variables [--value <TEXT>] [--file <PATH>] [NAME] [SUBCOMMAND]

• Aliases: variable, vars

Variables hold plain-text values that a computer's env references by name. Every workspace viewer can read them, so keep sensitive values in nevia secrets. Run nevia variables NAME --value TEXT to set one.

Arguments

• [NAME] - Variable name (lists all if omitted)

Options

• --value <TEXT> - Value to set, as text
• --file <PATH> - File to read the value from (- for stdin)
• -h, --help - Print help

Subcommands

• nevia variables .env <-f --file <PATH>>
• nevia variables ls
• nevia variables unset <NAME>…
